The so-called power plant maintenance worker refers to the use of effective means of detection and analysis and diagnostic techniques, timely and accurate grasp of the operating status of the equipment, to ensure that the equipment is safe, reliable and economic operation. The overhauler of a power plant is responsible for overhauling all the equipment and facilities related to the thermal system in the power plant, including the main steam system, reheat steam system, pulverizing system, feedwater system, bypass system, condensate system, industrial water system, cooling water system and so on.
Online inspection
The inspection is carried out directly on the power equipment in the running state. Detection does not affect the normal operation of the system, and can directly reflect the state of the equipment in operation, than stop running offline testing is more effective, timely and reliable.
The main difficulty of online testing is that it can not affect the operating state of the equipment. Power equipment is running in the power system, usually working in the rated voltage, the detection system must be reliably isolated from high-voltage parts of the work. Judgment.
Applicable sensing methods or means of judgment is to realize the guarantee of online detection. Application of various electric and non-electric sensing methods can detect the state of the equipment. Such as the use of radiation sensing to detect the heat of the equipment, discharge (luminous), can determine the overheating and partial discharge phenomenon; the use of sound and vibration sensing, can detect the mechanical structure of the equipment system and gap discharge failure; the use of the surface potential changes or the detection of induced currents can be judged by the degree of integrity of the internal insulation and so on.
Optoelectronic detection
The use of optical/electrical and electrical/optical signal conversion to achieve a variety of electrical and non-electrical measurements. With the development of optoelectronic devices, optical fiber, a variety of fiber optic sensing methods are widely used in the industrial field.
Photoelectric detection usually consists of the sensing part of the measured signal into an optical carrier signal (i.e., by the intensity of light or optical wave phase, frequency determined by the measured), which is transmitted to the receiving side through the fiber-optic conductor, and then demodulated from the optical carrier signal to the measured signal by the optical/electrical conversion. Many optical physical effects have been used for modulation detection, such as photoelastic effect for pressure, deformation measurement; electro-optical effect for electric field, voltage measurement; magneto-optical effect (Faraday effect) for magnetic field, current measurement; fluorescence effect for temperature measurement and so on. The use of optical fiber provides a powerful tool for these detection methods.
