Xilingol Vocational College was founded in May 2003, is the regional people's government approval, the Ministry of Education for the record of the full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges and universities. The college covers an area of 1,610 acres with a building area of 370,000 square meters. It has 13 teaching units, including Medical College, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Grassland Ecology and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, College of Mongolian Language, Culture and Art, and Qibaoligao International Horse-headqin College, and it offers 39 higher-level majors, such as nursing, power plant equipment operation and maintenance, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and broadcasting and hosting in Mongolian, as well as 28 intermediate-level majors.
