China Industrial Heritage Protection List

China's industrial heritage protection list are: Jiangnan Cement Plant, Kerbai Dockyard, Lushun Dockyard, Pingxiang Coal Mine, Dagu Dockyard and so on.

1, Jiangnan Cement Plant

Jiangnan Cement Plant is located in Qixia Town, Qixia District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, No. 88, was then the largest domestic cement plant with the most advanced equipment and technology. The construction of the plant began in 1934, the main remains of 16 Republic of China buildings, such as the old residence of Kunde, the small yellow building, A, B, C, D residences and so on. Buildings such as cement rotary kilns, stack houses and silos were used in the early stage of the plant's construction, and later narrow-gauge trains and living quarters for employees became part of the plant.

2, Kerbay Dockyard

Kerbay Dockyard is a dockyard located at 188 Changzhou Street, Changzhou Island, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, founded by John Kerbay in 1845. The dockyard has been selected for inclusion in the list of China's industrial heritage protection and is listed as a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Guangzhou. The Corbay Dockyard was the first stone dockyard in modern China and the first shipbuilding dockyard opened by foreigners in China. Its existence is of great value to the study of the history of Chinese shipbuilding industry.

3, Lushun Dockyard

Lushun Dockyard is an important relic in the list of China's industrial heritage protection. It is one of the earliest large-scale ship enterprises founded in 1883 in modern China, designed and built by China, Germany and France. Lushun Dockyard has the first batch of industrial workers in Northeast China, and is the first modern ship repair yard in North China. It erected the first domestic telegraph line in Northeast China and the first international telegraph line in China, built the first water pipeline in China, and led to the establishment and development of the city of Dalian.

4, Pingxiang Coal Mine

Pingxiang Coal Mine is one of the coal bases with the highest degree of coal industrialization in China in modern times, and ranked among the top three of China's "ten largest factories and mines" at that time. It was the birthplace of the Chinese workers' movement and the main outbreak of the Autumn Harvest Uprising. Pingxiang coal mine had established the first Chinese *** industrial party branch, the first workers' club, the first workers' consumer cooperative, held the shocking Anyuan Road miners' strike. It was once an important part of the Han Ye Ping Company.

5, Dagu Dockyard

Dagu Dockyard is China's third modern shipbuilding, but also the earliest shipbuilding factory in northern China. It is located in tianjin tanggu district dagu dock road 27, built in 1880. The main remains of the dockyard are the A dock, the old site of the turbine factory, the dock and the small wharf and so on. German-made shears, British-made punching shears and other pistols were also produced here. Dagu Dockyard was built not only for the development of shipbuilding industry in North China to provide talent, but also led to the development of shipbuilding industry throughout China.
