Biosafety cabinets are designed to protect operators, laboratory environment and experimental materials, and avoid exposure to infectious aerosols and spills that may be generated during the operation of infectious experimental materials (such as primary cultures, strains and diagnostic specimens).
The difference between the two is that the biosafety cabinet is more advanced than the clean workbench. Biosafety cabinet is specially designed to prevent biological germs or reagents from overflowing from the safety cabinet and polluting laboratories and experimenters, and is mainly used to protect human body. Biosafety cabinets should be selected for scientific research, teaching, clinical examination and production of microbiology and biomedicine.
