1. Housing Welfare
North Koreans do not need to buy their own houses. The houses they live in are allocated by the state and these houses do not need to be renovated by themselves. After the renovation is completed, the state will allocate them to the residents. They don't even need electricity or gas bills for their houses.
2. Medical Welfare
Medical and healthcare services in DPRK are also improving. Civilian hospitals are also well-equipped with medical equipment, and since 1953 the DPRK has begun to bear the medical expenses of Koreans.
3. Education Welfare
In DPRK, 12-year compulsory education is popularized, with 1 year of pre-school, 5 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school, and 3 years of high school. Korean people have a tradition of attaching importance to education, and tuition fees, school supplies, and school uniforms are free of charge from the time of enrollment.
