Hand drawing and coloring
Brush directly with a brush. It should be noted that hand-drawing is easy to produce pen lines, which will affect the surface effect. When repainting, you need to use "#" to paint it back and forth for two or three times, so that the surface color becomes lighter and the color is even and full. Hand-drawing is easy to learn, low cost, suitable for the public, and quite entertaining, and children can play.
How much dilution solvent to add to model paint is based on personal experience. In order to make the paint more smooth and uniform, you can use a straw to drop some solvents of the same brand and dilute them in the palette.
When diluting, according to the drying condition of the paint, different amounts of thinner are added. Let the nib absorb the pigment naturally and fully, and scrape off the excess pigment at the edge of the palette. Dip a flat brush in some pigments, and scrape the bottle mouth gently to adjust the pigment content on the brush. Not all model paints can be dipped. Depending on the pigment concentration, some pigments need to be diluted before they can be used for hand painting.
If the concentration is not correct when hand-drawing, the painted surface will be thick and ugly. The flat brush should brush to the plane when moving. When writing from left to right, keep your hands moving smoothly and evenly. When writing, the included angle between the brush and the surface is about 70 degrees. When understated, it feels as if the paint in the brush will easily flow out on the surface. The lighter the action, the less obvious the trace.
When you draw, you should judge when to draw again. Try to keep the brush wet and the pigment content at the best humidity, so as to have the most uniform handwriting.
The length of drying time is also one of the factors that affect the effect. Generally, it is necessary to wait until the first layer is dry before adding new paint to the second layer, which makes it easier to eliminate the traces of brush strokes. Practice more and accumulate experience. The brush direction of the second layer and the first layer becomes a vertical right angle, which is called cross painting.
If the trace of each pen is obvious, do not try to erase it. When it is completely dry, there will be less paint particles left on the surface. After drying, unevenness can be reduced by cross coating. If the color is still uneven after horizontal and vertical painting, you can wait until it is completely dry, and then gently polish it off with fine sandpaper before painting.
In order not to accumulate too much and too thick model paint on the surface of the model, we should try our best to hone our skills and achieve the best results with the least paint. This situation is often encountered in painting. Even with several layers of paint, the color still looks uneven. This situation often has little to do with how many layers of paint are brushed. This is the problem of background color. Some colors have weak hiding power (such as white, yellow and red), and the colors below are easy to reverse.
In order to avoid this situation, it is best to draw a light background (light gray or white) first, and then draw the main color. But in order to avoid the accumulation of thick paint on the surface, it is more ideal to spray the color with a pen.
When hand-painting, don't scribble, which is very easy to produce ugly brush marks, and make the paint surface extremely uneven in thickness, making the whole surface look mottled.
Spray gun coloring
At present, a double-acting spray gun is used. Downward is to adjust the air pressure, backward is to control the amount of paint. When drawing the model, choose the corresponding drawing method, or combine them to improve the drawing efficiency. The cost of spray gun is slightly higher, which is suitable for qualified players.
Pen spray is a tool for spraying model paint with compressed air. Drawing with a pen can save a lot of time, and the pigment can be evenly coated on the surface of the model, which can spray beautiful camouflage and old-fashioned effects.
At present, the pen used is a Japanese brand, ps270 platinum series 0.2mm caliber double-acting external adjustment pen. The strength of pressing the control trigger can determine the strength of gas output, and the distance of pulling back can control the amount of painting. When using, the application position of both should be controlled at the same time, and skilled people can also spray quite thin lines. Control needs practice.
In fact, the whole painting process is necessary, and the air pressure, paint concentration and the distance between the paint and the surface of the model can all be well coordinated to achieve a perfect effect. These factors have a direct impact on the effect of painting and are a changing factor.
Usually, spray gun painting should be carried out before spraying the model. This is an important step in pen operation. It is necessary to check the pen operation, whether the paint concentration is appropriate and whether the spraying effect is satisfactory. Remember not to do this on the model before spraying it on the model to avoid wasting resources. Waste paper boards can be used for testing.
The practice method can be spray points first, from big to deep to shallow, and then practice continuous action spray line. Gradually understand the relationship between air pressure, distance, paint output and buttons. Large area model surface painting, small area spraying, can cover. Use non-stick tape (with moderate adhesion, which won't hurt the coated surface) to stick a specific shape, then paint it with color by spraying, and slowly and carefully tear off the tape after the paint is dry.
However, in the case of complex structure spraying, in order to spray accurately, the usual method is to combine hand painting with spraying to achieve the purpose of complete coloring. Therefore, the method should not be static, and appropriate painting methods should be adopted according to the situation to improve efficiency.
influence gradually
At present, dip dyeing is only suitable for dyeing nylon materials. Limited by the material and color, its production time is relatively short, and it can be colored in 30 minutes. The cost is higher than that of pure manual coloring and painting coloring, and the gloss is the lowest among the five processes, and the final coloring effect is average.
Electroplating coloring
There are only three options for electroplating: chromium, nickel and gold. Based on the principle of electrolysis, a thin layer of metal was plated on the surface of some metals and ABS plastics. Its appearance effect is very good, and its color glossiness is very high, which is beyond the reach of pure handwork, painting and dip dyeing.
Nano spray coloring
Nano-spraying is a high-tech spraying technology, which uses advanced materials and special equipment, applies chemical principles, and makes the sprayed solid surface show many specular highlights of various colors by direct spraying. Color transition is very natural, and a model can spray many colors.
