Project introduction:

In order to call on all sectors of the community to support and pay attention to the development of China's healthcare industry, to promote the construction of medical personnel in grassroots areas, to improve the level of medical care and quality of service, and to effectively safeguard the growing health needs of the general public, the China Medical Foundation and Samsung (China) Investment Co. ***Ltd. to launch the "Ultrasound Medical Education Public Welfare Program" of the China Medical Foundation.

The project plans to select 22 tertiary hospitals nationwide as the training bases of the China Medical Foundation's "Ultrasound Medical Education Public Welfare Project" within three years from 2013. The project will donate a certain number of new high-grade ultrasound equipments and modernized equipment, such as electronic blackboards, displays, monitors, etc., to each base hospital free of charge. Training and teaching equipment, in each base hospital to build a value of more than 7 million yuan "intelligent ultrasound training classroom". At the same time, the project will subsidize ultrasound doctors from the provinces where the base hospitals are located to attend free ultrasound training at the base hospitals in batches.

The project is organized by the China Medical Foundation and Samsung (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and co-organized by the Central Committee of the Democratic Revolutionary Party, provincial Democratic Revolutionary Party and provincial health planning commissions, and the specific training work is entrusted to the relevant departments of the project provinces and base hospitals.
