In 1992, when Li Qiyuan was in elementary school, his parents bought him a desktop computer from Shenzhen. When he was in elementary school, he published articles in newspapers and magazines such as "Computer News" and "Computer Time". It was from then on that he learned about the Internet and entered this amazing world. Since his first year of junior high school, he has been doing web design for large websites and has accumulated fame.

In 1998, with the help of his friends, Li Qiyuan started his first business and created a personal website, "Qiyuan Network". That year, his site was named one of the best 50 sites in the country.

After graduating from college in 2005, Li Qiyuan returned to Chongqing to work at Tianji.com, one of the largest Internet companies in Chongqing at the time.

He went from being independently in charge of a user research group to growing that group to 20 people, and also took on all the design and production work for the company.

In 2007, at the age of 23, Li Qiyuan was appointed editor-in-chief of Tianji.com, and later became the general manager, also responsible for sales management.

In 2009, five years after joining Tianji.com, Li Qiyuan decided to leave the well-developed company, intending to start his own business. His reason was: "Looking ahead to life in 10 years, the role played by the Internet in which there is a huge space for imagination, is something one would dream of associating. He built an account called "I love discounts" to help major B2C sites to bring a lot of orders, and based on this account to build a discount community called "Le ah". It took only 6 months to get the investment from Lee Kai-Fu Innovation Workshop.

In October 2010, because of the direction of the project, Li Qi Yuan left the "Le ah", decided to start his mind "second business".

At the end of 2010, Li Qiyuan named his new company "Qiyuan Technology", the name of his teenage business 10 years ago, meaning the continuation of the dream of his youth.

He became his own angel investor, all the resources, experience and vision are focused on "Qiyuan Technology". Li Qiyuan told the Chongqing Evening News reporter: "I see this endeavor as the second venture of my life, because I am both the investor and the company's steering wheel, and this challenge is still new to me."

Li Qiyuan said, his new company "not to sell for the purpose, not to finance as a means, I hope to do a down-to-earth to create value of the Internet company."

At present, "Qiyuan Technology" launched the first project "Gathering", through microblogging, community websites and other forms, for offline business customers to promote. According to Li Qiyuan disclosed that the current "gathering" on more than a hundred merchants, every day with tens of thousands of consumers to establish contact on the social network.

Li Qiyuan is a native of Chongqing. Like many of the IT elite, he also had the experience of dropping out of school.

Li Qiyuan junior high school, began to start the company, get up at 6:00 a.m. every day to go to school, "skipping" in the afternoon to go to the company, work until the early hours of the morning before going home, only three or four hours of sleep a day.

In 2001, he was guaranteed admission to the 29th high school, but in the company's business and academic `double pressure, he made an unexpected decision: drop out of school, while giving up on the company just on track, and then go abroad to study.

Li Qiyuan recalled that he was in a lot of pain. Not to mention being uprooted from his hometown, the company he had worked so hard to create was just getting started, and everything was moving in a better direction, so it was not easy to give up. And at the time, he was only a 16-year-old boy.

During his studies in the UK, Li Qiyuan confessed that it wasn't easy. In order to earn tuition fees and living expenses, he worked in fast food chains for four years, from washing dishes, washing the kitchen, french fries, cashier, to the foreman, assistant manager, restaurant manager, almost all kinds of work he did.

In 2005, he graduated from college, not only completing two majors in computer science and business administration, but also earning a first-class degree summa cum laude.
