Keigo Hayami (played by Ri Mukai) is a much-anticipated young cardiac surgeon at the university hospital. A high-profile cardiac surgeon, due to orders from his boss, works at Takayama Clinic during the summer vacation. It is a very remote mountain clinic with an altitude of 2,500 meters. There he met nurse Haruka Koyama (played by Makiko Ono). He was originally a nurse in the emergency room. When he returned to his hometown of Takayama B&B, he was very dissatisfied with the practices of the clinic doctor Mukai Ri. When a climber was killed and needed emergency surgery, he found that medical equipment was severely lacking and even the operation had to be performed under the sun. The helicopter finally arrived, but it could only save one person. As a doctor, he was forced to make a choice.
