The following are China's military aero-engine manufacturers and their product models (from public information, not classified)

1, Hunan Zhuzhou Southern Power Company:

Turbofan WS11 (modeled after the Ukrainian АI-25) is a small-thrust, unboosted turbofan, with a thrust of 1.6T, mass-produced in 2002 and used in trainers.

Turbofan WS11 (modeled after Ukraine's АI-25) is a small-thrust uncharged turbofan with 1.6T of thrust.

Turbofan WS16★ (from Ukrainian АI-222-25F) is a small-thrust turbofan with 4.2T of added thrust, expected to be mass-produced in 2012 for trainer aircraft L15 (JL15 Falcon) series.

Turboshaft WZ8G (cited from the French AHEYE-WZ8A change), small power turboshaft, power 600 kW, 2005 has been the year of mass production, used for helicopters Z9 (AC312), WZ19 series, Z11 (AC311) series upgrade.

Turboshaft WZ6 (modeled after French TM-3C, produced by Changzhou Feixiang), medium-power turboshaft, with a power of 1,250 kilowatts, has been mass-produced in 2000 for helicopter Z8 series.

Turboshaft WZ9 (self-developed), medium-power turboshaft, power 1,000 kilowatts, has been mass-produced in 2009, used in helicopters WZ10 series.

Turboshaft WZ10★ (self-research and development), high-power turboshaft, power 1,800 kilowatts, is expected to be in mass production in 2015, used for new helicopters (3-engine 20T class).

Turboshaft WZ11★ (self-research and development, reference Canada Pratt & Whitney PT6B-67B), medium-power turboshaft, power 1,500 kilowatts, is expected to be in mass production in 2012, used in helicopters Z8F (AC313), Z20 (9-ton aircraft) series.

Turboshaft WZ16★ (with the French joint research Atidan 3), medium-power turboshaft, power 1,200 kilowatts, is expected to be in mass production in 2014, for helicopters WZ10, Z15 (6-ton aircraft AC352) series.

Turboplasma WJ6C (modeled after the Soviet Union), medium-power turboplasma, power 3,800 kilowatts, has been mass-produced in 2006, used for transport aircraft Y9 (domestic 6-propeller aircraft, carrying 20T) series.

Turboplasma WJ9 (turboshaft 8A core modification), small power turboplasma, power 550 kilowatts, 1995 has been mass production, used in the transport aircraft Y12 series.

Vortex slurry WJ5E (with the General Dongan WJ5), medium-power turbine slurry, power 2000 kilowatts, 1992 has been mass production, used in the transport aircraft Y7 series.

Vortex slurry WJ10★ (self-research and development), medium-power vortex slurry, power 5,000 kilowatts, is expected to have been mass-produced in 2014, used in the transport aircraft Y19 (carrying 30T) series.

2, Sichuan Gas Turbine Institute (pre-research base):

Turbofan WS300, 500, 700, small thrust turbofan , thrust 300 to 700KG kN, in 2005 has been mass production, used for unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles.

Turbofan WS15 Emei ★ (self-developed in the research), high thrust-to-weight ratio of large thrust turbofan, accelerated thrust up to 18T, is expected to be in mass production in 2015 for the future of the four-generation J20 fighters and so on.

Turbofan WS17★ (self-research and development), large-containment-ratio small-thrust turbofan, thrust 3.5T, is expected to be in mass production in 2013, for the teaching of the 19th, sea pre-19 series.

3, Shaanxi Xi'an (Red Flag) Aeronautical Development Company:

Turbofan WS9 Qinling (imitation of the British Spee 202), medium-thrust turbofan, accelerated thrust 9.2T, 2002 has been in mass production, used in the JH7A (Flying Leopard) series of JBMs.

4, Guizhou Anshun (sic, I think it should be referred to Liyang) Air Development Company:

Turbofan WS13 Taishan ★ (imitation of the Russian RD93 modification), medium-thrust turbofan, plus thrust 8.5T, is expected to be in mass production in 2011, used in the FC1 (Lord Dragon).

Turbofan WS12 Tanggula ★ (self-developed in the research), medium-thrust turbofan, plus thrust 9.5T, is expected to 2014 batch production, for the fighter aircraft FC1 (Dragon) upgrades and the future of the country's fourth-generation J21 fighter aircraft.

Turbofan WS12C★ (WS12 core large-containment ratio), medium-thrust turbofan, thrust 8.0T, is expected to be in mass production in 2015, used for the Chinese transport Y21, support passenger ARJ-21 (C909).

Turbojet WP13F (modeled after the Soviet Union), medium-thrust turbojet with 8.2T of added thrust, was in mass production in 1995 and is used in the J7 and J8 series of fighter jets and the JL9 trainer aircraft.

5. Liaoning Shenyang Liming Aeronautical Development Company:

Turbofan WS10A Taixing (modeled after the U.S.-made core), medium-thrust turbofan, 12.5T of added thrust, was in mass production in 2006 and is used in the Y21 and the ARJ-21 (C909). It has been mass-produced in 2006 and is used in the J11 series of fighters.

Turbofan WS10G Taihang, large thrust turbofan, additive thrust 13.8T, full CNC, mass production in 2011, used in fighter J10, J11 series.

Turbofan WS118★ (WS10A core large-containment ratio), large-thrust turbofan, thrust 12.0T, is expected to be mass-produced in 2011, used in the large transport Y20, passenger C919.

Turbojet WP14C Kunlun Ⅲ, medium-thrust turbojet, accelerated thrust of 8.2T, has been mass-produced in 2005, used in the fighter jet J7, J8 series, the coach aircraft JL9 (Mountain Hawk) upgrade.

6, Sichuan Chengdu Aerospace Development Company:

Turbofan WS18A (imitation of the Russian D-30K2 modification), large-thrust turbofan, thrust 12.0T, 2009 has been mass production, used for large transport Y20, Boom H6K.

7, the following models for the possible producers

Turbofan SF-A ★ (WS15 core large-containment-channel-ratio, may be produced by Xi'an Aerospace Development Corporation), large thrust turbofan, thrust 13.0T, is expected to be finalized in 2015 for mass production, used in the large transport Y20, large passenger C919.

Steamship QC185 ★ (WS10A core, LM25000 class, Shenyang Liming Aerospace Development Corporation), medium-power combustion turbine, the power of 18,500 kilowatts, is expected to be in 2012 for mass production. Used in 052D (4-issue 9000T) drive series, 054B (2-issue 4500T) drive series and so on.

Steamship QC280 (cited from Ukraine DA80, Xi'an Aerospace Development Company), high-power combustion turbine, power 28,000 kilowatts, has been mass-produced in 2009, used in the 052B/C (double-engine 6,000T) drive series and so on.

Remarks: with "★" for the research and development models, 1 horsepower is equal to 0.735 kilowatts or 1 kilowatt is equal to 1.36 horsepower.

Y20 DALY: Initially, the turbofan WS18A and turbofan WS118 are used, and the turbofan SF-A is expected to be used at a later stage.

ARJ-21 (C909) support passenger: now using the U.S. General Electric CF34 turbofan engine, later expected to use the turbofan WS12C engine.

C919 large passenger: with: the initial CFM R & D LEAP-X1C, later expected to use the turbofan SF-A turbofan engine.

J10 series of fighters: now using the Russian-made AL-31FN turbofan engine, later expected to use the turbofan WS10G Taihang, turbofan WS15 Emei turbofan engine.

FC1 "Dragon" fighter: the current Russian RD-93 turbofan engine, later expected to use the turbofan WS13 Taishan, turbofan WS12 Tanggula turbofan engine.

The Xinzhou 60: the PW127J turboprop engine from Pratt & Whitney Canada is now used.  

Z8F, AC313 helicopters: currently used Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B-67B turboshaft engine. Later it is expected to use the turboshaft WZ11 engine.

Z15 (AC352) helicopters: the new generation PT6C-67E turboshaft engine from Pratt & Whitney, Canada, and the turboshaft WZ16 engine is expected to be used in the future.
