Disinfection supply room is an important department that supplies all kinds of sterile instruments, dressings and articles in hospitals, and its working quality directly affects the medical quality and the safety of patients. High-pressure steam supply should be sufficient and convenient, with good ventilation and lighting. Walls and ceilings should be free of cracks and dust, which is convenient for cleaning and disinfection. The ground is flat and there are drainage channels. A complete supply room should have a place for receiving, washing, special drying articles, dressing making, disinfection, aseptic storage and distribution, as well as a staff locker room. Conditional hospitals should have pyrogen monitoring rooms, offices and toilets.
