What are GS, ROHS, SAA, SASO, S-MARK and PAHS certifications?

It's all certification programs. GS is German! ROHS belongs to the European Union and so on. I know an electronic toll collection system, but it should not be what you want. SAA is an Australian standard. Saudi Arabian standard. Your S-MARK must be mistaken. I guess it's E-MARK, and it's also from the European Union. The last PAHS is polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which is a highly carcinogenic substance!

GS is the abbreviation of German "GeprUfte Sicherheit" and is a voluntary certification mark based on German law. Promulgated by the German Ministry of Labor on 1977. It is based on the German Equipment Product Safety Law (GPSG) and is recognized as a German safety certification mark in the European market.

SAA Standards Australia International Limited is the only standard certification body in Australia. Electrical products, whether imported or assembled locally in Australia, must be certified by Australian International Standards Company before they can enter the Australian market for sale. Different electrical products need different product quality certification.
