Automotive enterprises donate 25 million yuan to fight against the epidemic, BMW China and BMW Brilliance have made a second donation of 25 million yuan to fight against the epidemic, following the first donation of 5 million yuan by the automotive enterprises as a crisis response measure on January 26th. At the same time, BMW set up the first nationwide psychological counseling hotline for healthcare workers, patients and volunteers fighting on the frontline of the epidemic.

According to Auto-First, the donation was made to the China Population Welfare Foundation through the Health Angels - Health Volunteer Action, which was used to purchase urgently needed medical equipment such as monitors and non-invasive ventilators for hospitals in Wuhan and other cities and states in Hubei Province, as well as to fund the opening of the first nationwide psychological counseling hotline. At the same time, it also funded the opening of the first nationwide psychological counseling hotline, specializing in serving the brave healthcare workers, patients and volunteers fighting on the frontline of the national anti-epidemic campaign.

Following the first donation as a crisis response on January 26th, BMW China and BMW Brilliance have implemented the second donation, taking into account the need to support the healthcare workers to successfully combat the epidemic. The donation will be made to the China Population Welfare Foundation, which will be used to purchase medical equipment such as monitors and non-invasive ventilators that are urgently needed by the hospitals in Wuhan, Hubei Province and other cities and states in the fight against the epidemic; on the other hand, it will be used for the establishment of the first nationwide psychological counseling hotline for the majority of healthcare workers, patients and volunteers on the frontline of the fight against the epidemic, so as to provide the frontline healthcare workers with professional psychological counseling, psychological guidance and other humanistic care.

In addition to the first national psychological counseling hotline for the frontline medical staff, the hotline also provides professional psychological counseling and psychological guidance to the medical staff.

In addition to providing BMW employees with further proactive measures to prevent the epidemic, BMW China and BMW Brilliance will closely track the development of the Chinese society's fight against the epidemic and will continue to make contributions to the Chinese society. After two consecutive donations, BMW and BMW Brilliance's donations in response to the new Crown Pneumonia reached 30 million yuan.
