1, no eating, drinking, smoking, drinking or chewing gum within 30 minutes before saliva collection, rinse your mouth with drinking water.
2. Remove the sampling tube, open the funnel cover, and collect saliva through the funnel into the sampling tube until the position indicated by the label on the sampling tube.
3. Cover the funnel lid and allow the preserved liquid in the funnel lid to flow well into the collection tube.
4. Unscrew the funnel, put on the small lid, and shake it up and down to mix the saliva with the preservation liquid well.
5. Put the sampling tube and the filled-in information back into the box and send it back to the genetic testing center.
Note: To ensure that the actual amount of saliva can reach the scale, the upper layer of foam is not included, and must be completed within half an hour saliva sampling process.
The general genetic testing process starts when the laboratory receives the subject's DNA specimen and ends when the subject receives the test report, which is approximately 15 business days.
