Can you carry a strong flashlight on an airplane

Whether or not a strong flashlight can be taken on an airplane depends on the circumstances. Generally speaking, flashlights that have a sharp appearance cannot be taken into the cabin, while small flashlights that are pocket-sized with a sleek appearance can be brought on board.

Airplanes can not carry the items:

One of the passengers is strictly prohibited to carry lighters and matches in the checked baggage. Passengers can carry a lighter (except windproof lighter) or a box of matches on board. When passing through the security check, passengers should take the initiative to hand over the lighters and matches to the security personnel to be checked separately.

Second, passengers on international and regional flights carrying liquid goods still implement the relevant provisions of the Announcement on Restrictions on the Carriage of Liquid Goods on Civil Aviation Aircraft issued by the Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC) on March 17, 2007, which stipulates that passengers should not carry liquid goods on board civil aviation aircraft.

Third, passengers on domestic flights may carry liquid articles with a volume of no more than 100 milliliters in a single container and a total volume of no more than 1,000 milliliters on board the aircraft, except for flammable and explosive liquid articles prohibited by civil aviation regulations to be carried by passengers. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be carried on board, but can be delivered as checked baggage. If the alcohol content is less than 24 degrees (including 24 degrees), the amount to be transported is not restricted; if the alcohol content is between 24 degrees and 70 degrees (including), the total amount to be transported shall not be more than 5 liters; and if the alcohol content is more than 70 degrees, it shall not be handled for transport. The packaging of alcoholic beverages shall be in accordance with the relevant regulations for civil aviation transportation.

Four, diabetes or other diseases, patients can carry the necessary liquid medicines for the journey by air, but need to show the hospital certificate or doctor's prescription by their own names; there are infants accompanied by liquid dairy products carried by passengers, after security checks to confirm that there is no doubt, permitted to carry the airplane.

V. Passengers who miss their flights due to violation of the above regulations are responsible for the consequences.

Note: Passengers holding Business Class or Economy Class tickets are allowed to carry only one item per person. The size of each item shall not exceed 20cm x 40cm x 55cm, and the total weight of both items shall not exceed 5kg. If the number of items, weight or volume exceeds the limit, they should be checked as checked baggage on the airplane according to the regulations.
