In legal English, both PowerofAttorney and Proxy can be used as a power of attorney to express authorization, the difference is that PowerofAttorney refers to the attorney to be a lawyer, i.e., with the status of a lawyer, while Proxy has no such requirement, i.e., the attorney to be a lawyer is generally not required to have the status of a lawyer.
