Development and utilization of Qingdao No.1 bathing beach

Nearby, Donghai, Baima and Bailemen hotels were built. Chinese and foreign bureaucrats and capitalists took a summer vacation here, and more than 1000 people bathed every day, making the bathing place extremely prosperous. After Japan invaded Qingdao for the second time, the bath was filled with yellow music, during which hooligans and local ruffians were rampant and the smoke was unbearable. After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, the number of dressing rooms increased to more than 300. Fewer people bathe in the working masses. After that, many private individuals set up dressing rooms and began to rent boats, and the dressing rooms became residents in winter. The locker room was destroyed by liberation after being hit by a typhoon. After the liberation of Qingdao, the people's government has rebuilt and expanded many times, and the bathing place has taken on a new look, and the number of bathers has increased year by year, making it a paradise for the people. 1953 Two platforms 20 meters away from the shore were built, the number of dressing rooms increased to more than 500, shark prevention nets were set up, rescue teams, medical stations and safety observation platforms were built, and the Municipal Finance Bureau allocated 30,000-40,000 yuan for maintenance in the following year. During the period of 1965, due to the obsolescence of the dressing rooms, the municipal government allocated funds for local renovation, adding three dressing rooms (five in each building) and two washing places, and rebuilding the bathing office building, including facilities such as medical rooms, police stations, broadcasting rooms, conference rooms and observation decks. 1983, the municipal government decided to move 144 bathing beaches, dismantle dressing rooms and rebuild bathing beaches, and listed the renovation of the first bathing beach as one of the major events in 1984 urban construction 10, and established the first bathing beach key project headquarters.
