Magnets have special properties and are used in what way

Properties of permanent magnets:

1. Have two poles (n and s poles). Chopping remains in both poles and no single pole can exist.

2. Lines of magnetic induction describing the magnetic field. (or magnetic lines of force, is a man-made geometric curve, from the magnet n pole out into the s pole, the magnetic lines of force is more graphic representation, put a piece of paper on top of the magnet, evenly sprinkled with iron filings, tap, you can see the man-made geometric curve, the densest at both ends of the magnet, indicating that the strongest magnetism, called the magnetic poles.)

3. Interaction between magnetic poles: magnetic poles of the same name repel, magnetic poles of different names attract.

4. Permanent magnets can attract magnetic substances: iron, cobalt, nickel.

5. An energized conductor placed in a magnetic field is subjected to magnetic force and moves. The direction of motion is determined by the left-hand rule.

6. A portion of a conductor in a closed circuit produces an induced current in a magnetic field. It is called electromagnetic induction.

7. Electricity and magnetism can be transformed in different ways.

8. There are permanent magnets in the form of bars, hooves and needles.

9. Permanent magnets are directional: they indicate the direction north and south. Such as a compass.
