Food waste (wet garbage/perishable garbage/kitchen garbage) refers to organic matter as the main component of domestic garbage, which has the characteristics of high water content, easy to rot, fermentation and odor, etc. It includes: kitchen waste produced by unit canteens, hotels, restaurants and pubs, etc., vegetables and fruits garbage produced by farmers' markets and wholesale markets of agricultural products, rotting meat, broken meat bones, eggshells, offal of livestock and poultry products, etc., as well as fruits and fruits produced by residents' households.
Other garbage (dry garbage) refers to household garbage other than hazardous garbage, recyclables and food waste.
