Three treatment objectives of solid waste treatment
Solid waste treatment works are usually executed with three treatment objectives: reduction, harmlessness and resourcefulness. Reduction is through prevention to reduce or avoid the amount of waste generated at the source; harmlessness is the harmless treatment of waste to reduce toxicity; resourcing refers to the source can not be reduced for the waste and consumer-generated waste to be recovered, reuse, recycling, so that they return to the economic cycle to go. Developing countries focus on harmlessness, while economically developed countries generally focus on resourcing. China has been harmless mainly, with the development of industry technology and national policy guidance, China gradually to solid waste resource utilization.
Six segments of solid waste treatment
Solid waste refers to human beings in the production and construction, daily life and other activities, at a certain time and place can not be utilized and discarded to pollute the environment of the solid, semi-solid waste material. Based on the main types of solid waste, the solid waste treatment industry is mainly divided into six segments, including domestic waste treatment industry, agricultural and forestry waste treatment industry, kitchen waste treatment industry, industrial solid waste treatment industry, sludge treatment industry, and hazardous waste treatment industry.
The continuous development of the harmless treatment of garbage and domestic life
The classification and treatment facilities for domestic garbage are an important part of the environmental infrastructure of cities and towns, and they are the basic guarantee to promote the implementation of the system of classification of domestic garbage and to realize the reduction, resourcefulness, and harmlessness of garbage treatment. At present, China's domestic garbage is transported to the garbage treatment plant through garbage classification, and the plant treatment is mainly based on landfill and incineration. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the number of harmless treatment plants for domestic waste in China increased year by year from 2015 to 2020, with the number of harmless treatment plants reaching 1,287 in 2020. Foresight combined with the new construction of plants predicts that the number of domestic waste harmless treatment plants in China will exceed 1,400 in 2021.

Strict treatment of landfill disposal
Environmental problems of landfill facilities are becoming increasingly apparent, with some landfills having low levels of environmental protection, technology and operational management, and most of the landfilled garbage not being treated harmlessly, which may cause serious secondary pollution to the surrounding environment. In particular, environmental hazards such as substandard leachate treatment, weak seepage control systems and irregularities in daily operations are prominent and pose a potential threat to the surrounding environment. Some landfill facilities are filling up, their service life is expiring one after another, and the difficulty and high cost of renovation have become the main constraints for promoting the closure and remediation of landfills. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the number of sanitary landfill non-hazardous treatment plants for domestic waste in China has begun to decline since 2018, with the number of landfill non-hazardous treatment plants standing at 663 in 2018, and the number dropping to 644 in 2020. According to our policy of strict management of landfills, Forward-looking expects that the number of sanitary landfill harmless treatment plants for domestic waste in China will continue to decrease to approximately 630 in 2021.

Vigorously develop waste incineration treatment
After nearly a decade of development, China's waste incineration and centralized heating and heating, waste heat power generation and other facilities convergence has been more mature. At present, China has initially formed a new treatment capacity to incinerate the main pattern of development of waste treatment. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from 2015 to 2020, the number of domestic waste incineration harmless treatment plants in China has shown a high-speed growth trend. in 2015, the number of domestic waste incineration harmless treatment plants in China was only 220, and the number has been raised to 463 by 2020. Forward-looking estimates that the number of domestic waste incineration harmless treatment plants in China maintains increasing in 2021, and its number reaches about 570 seats.
