Shelter refers to a portable van-type factory building which is organically combined with various solid materials and has fixed or expandable volume and protective performance. The word shelter comes from the military terminology of the US military.
Shelters originated in America. In the early 1950s, the United States first began to develop the shelter and applied it to the US military for the first time. They are all equipped with vehicles and have high maneuverability. According to different needs, the corresponding structural design is carried out and related equipment with specific functions is installed. It is widely used in mobile command system, communication, medical care, logistics support and so on, and is one of the important equipment of American mobile forces.
In the fifties and sixties, American RV developed unprecedentedly.
