This book is one of a series of monographs on chemical sensors and biosensors in springer. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is a kind of sensor to calculate the refractive index (concentration) of samples by measuring the * * * vibration angle of surface plasmon wave, and it is one of the important technologies to realize the quantitative determination of trace biological and chemical active substances. In the past 20 years, surface plasmon resonance sensors have attracted great attention of researchers. This book attempts to introduce the field of surface plasmon resonance sensors widely and deeply, including the theory of surface plasmon resonance and its excitation, the detailed introduction, research methods, data analysis and application of surface plasmon resonance instruments and sensor surfaces.
This book is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the basic theory of surface plasmon resonance technology to readers, including chapter 1.3. 1. Electromagnetic theory of surface plasmon in planar waveguide: 2. Principle of surface plasmon resonance sensor and key factors affecting its performance: 3. Influence of mass transfer in intermolecular interaction model and dynamic analysis of sensor surface. The second part introduces the development status and functional methods of surface plasmon resonance sensor, including chapter 4.5. 4. The principle of surface plasmon polarimeter, including the coupling of prism and grating, wavelength modulation, intensity modulation method, optical waveguide and optical fiber sensor. 5. Immobilization of surface molecules of surface plasmon resonance sensor. The third part discusses the application of surface plasmon biosensor in the study of molecules and their interactions, and the application of surface plasmon vibration sensor in the detection of chemical or biological analytes, involving environmental monitoring, food safety, medical diagnosis and other fields.
The author of this book, Associate Professor Homola, 1993, received his Ph.D. from the Czech and China Academy of Sciences, and now works in the Institute of Optoelectronic Research of the Czech and China Academy of Sciences, the head of the Ren Guang Electronics Department and the head of the Optical Sensor Department. Associate Professor Homola has been engaged in the research of surface plasmon resonance technology for a long time. He is an expert in this field and enjoys a world reputation, and has served as the chairman of the optical sensor branch of SPIE Optics and Optoelectronic Conference for many times.
