History of Dongguan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

1965.12.01, approved by the government, the establishment of Dongguan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a collectively owned health care institutions. In the same year, approved by the higher authorities, the hospital was upgraded to a deputy division-level medical and health institutions, with six section-level functional departments.  In 1993, the imported whole-body CT scanner was put into use, which greatly improved the diagnostic level of the hospital.  In 1995, approved by the higher authorities, the establishment of the "Dongguan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine", the implementation of two brands, a set of team management and work. In the same year, the hospital was evaluated as "Grade 3A Chinese Medicine Hospital" and "Model Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangdong Province".  In 1997, the hospital was approved as "Guangdong Higher Medical School Teaching Hospital" by the Provincial Department of Higher Education and the Department of Health.  In 2000, the hospital introduced the project of Henan Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine--individualized treatment system for identification and typing of hypertension. Established "Chinese Medicine Hypertension (Dongguan) Medical Center", and opened in BBK Outpatient Clinic (Second Outpatient Clinic).  In 2001, the 12-story inpatient building with a floor area of 19,000 square meters was built by the municipal government and part of the hospital's own funds, and the number of beds increased to 351. In the same year, the hospital's "specialty, specialist, expert" outpatient clinic was officially opened.  In 2002, the United States imported large-scale equipment - nuclear magnetic **** vibration (MR) installation and commissioning is completed, officially put into use.  In 2003, the hospital center outpatient clinic (three outpatient clinic) renovation and expansion project was completed and opened, greatly improving the working environment and medical conditions.  In 2004, the hospital added four orthopedic and pediatric wards and outpatient clinics, the use of hospital beds to 408.  In 2005, the hospital opened "Yifeng Clinic" in Dongcheng District, serving more than 100,000 people in the neighboring communities.
