My internship`s unit is a hardware parts processing factory. The production of many types of parts, mainly stamping parts, each batch of orders are not much, belong to the type of product production of more types of batch less. The size of the factory is very small, only about 10 workers.

The rough layout of the processing plant is as follows. There are three types of lathes: large, medium and small, and it can be seen from their arrangement and the size of the factory that it belongs to the process object specialization arrangement. Unfortunately, no one has been able to solve this problem by simply adding more workers to a bottleneck process (but not enough workers on the lathe itself). No one will explore why this process becomes a bottleneck and is there a solution? Sometimes, in order to increase lathe utilization, when one lathe is idle, another product is started, and there's no concern for any consistency in the flow of intermediate products, much less any consideration of the amount of intermediate products being moved. Because there is a ****ty understanding that solving these problems is not worth the money, it doesn't get enough attention. This is another big problem, I do not know whether it is the equipment commissioning staff's skill level is not enough, or the lathe is too old, in short, these lathes are always out of the problem, which is very fatal to the workshop production. This problem is not solved one day, basically can not talk about what to solve the balance of production capacity between the lathes.

Let's take a look at workshop one! Also thought of a problem, sometimes, some products are processed in the second workshop, and then moved to a workshop in the idle lathe to process the rest of the process. At this point, you can imagine how efficient the production is (although the management model is really "flexible").

From the picture, it is clear that the factory does not have a warehouse at all.
