Description of intellectual property protection level (according to EN60529/IEC529)
The protection level is IP54, IP is the symbol letter, the number 5 is the first symbol number and 4 is the second symbol number.
The first number indicates the contact protection and foreign body protection level, and the second number indicates the waterproof protection level;
Contact protection and foreign body protection level (first number) Waterproof protection level (second number)
A first digital protection range and a second digital protection range.
Name description name description
0 is not protected -0
Unprotected-
1 Protect solid foreign body detectors with a diameter of 50mm and above. The diameter of the sphere is 50mm, and it cannot completely enter 1 water drop, so as to protect the water drop falling vertically from harm.
2 Solid foreign body detectors with a diameter of 12.5mm and above shall be protected, and the sphere with a diameter of 12.5mm shall not completely enter the cabinet 2. When the cabinet 2 is tilted 15 degrees, the vertically falling water drops should not cause damage when the cabinet 2 is tilted to any side 15 degrees.
3. Protect the solid foreign body detector with a diameter of 2.5mm or more. The sphere is 2.5mm in diameter and should not completely enter. 3. Protect the spilled water from both sides of the vertical line at an angle of 60 degrees, which should not cause damage.
4. Protect the solid foreign body detector with a diameter of 1.0mm and above, and the diameter of the sphere is 1.0mm, so it should not completely enter. 4 protect the water spray, and the water spray aimed at the cabinet from all directions should not cause damage.
5. Protective dust can not completely prevent dust from entering, but the amount of dust entering will not cause damage to the equipment. 5. Protective water spraying aimed at the cabinet from all directions should not cause damage.
6. Under the low pressure of 20 mbar, dust should not enter the closed cabinet. 6. Protect the strong water flow aimed at the cabinet from all directions, so as not to cause damage.
Note: The diameter of the detector should not pass through the hole 7 of the cabinet to prevent short-time immersion. When the cabinet is immersed in water for a short time under standard pressure, there should be no water that will cause damage.
8 long-term immersion protection can be immersed in water under certain conditions, and there can be no water immersion that can cause damage.
Technical Summary-Waterproof Test
1 and range
The waterproof test includes that the second characteristic number is 1 to 8, that is, the protection grade code is IPX 1 to IPX8.
2, waterproof test content at all levels
( 1)IPX 1
Name of method: vertical drop test
Test equipment: See 2. 1 1 for the dripping test device and its test method.
Sample placement: according to the normal working position of the sample, place the sample on the rotating sample table of 1r/min, and the distance from the top of the sample to the drip port is not more than 200mm.
Test conditions: the dripping water is10.5 mm/min;
Test duration: 10 minute; ;
(2)IPX2
Method name: tilt 15 drop test
Test equipment: See 2. 1 1 for the dripping test device and its test method.
Sample placement: make one surface of the sample form an angle of15 with the vertical, and the distance from the top of the sample to the drip port is not more than 200mm. After each trial, change to another one.
..... face, * * * four times.
Test conditions: the dripping water is 30.5mm/min;
Test duration: 4× 2.5 minutes (* * * 10 minute);
(3)IPX3
Name of method: drenching test
Test method:
A. Swing tube drenching test
Test equipment: pendulum water spraying and splashing test device (see 2. 14 of this book for device graphics and test methods).
Sample placement: select a pendulum tube with a suitable radius, so that the height of the sample table is at the diameter position of the pendulum tube, and place the sample on the sample table, so that the distance from the top of the sample to the sample nozzle is not more than 200mm, and the sample table does not rotate.
Test conditions: the water flow is calculated according to the number of spray holes of the pendulum pipe, and each hole is 0.07 L/min.
When spraying water, water is sprayed to the sample from the spray holes of 60 arc sections on both sides of the midpoint of the pendulum tube. The tested sample is placed in the center of the pendulum tube semicircle. The pendulum tube swings 60 degrees along the vertical line, * * * 120. Each swing (2× 120) is about 4 s.
.
Test time: continuous watering 10 minute.
B. Sprinkler sprinkler test
Test equipment: hand-held water spraying and splashing test device. See 2. 14 in this book for the graph and test method of the device.
Sample placement: make the parallel distance from the top of the test to the hand-held nozzle be between 300mm and 500mm.
Test conditions: baffle with balance weight should be installed during the test, and the water flow rate is 10 L/min.
Test time: calculated according to the surface area of the tested sample shell, per square meter 1 min (excluding the installation area), with a minimum of 5.
Minimum.
(4)IPX4
Method name: splash test;
Test method:
A. Swing tube splash test
Test equipment and sample placement: same as IPX3 (a) in item (3) above;
Test conditions: same as ipx3a; in item (3) above except the following conditions;
The water spraying area is 90 arc sections on both sides of the midpoint of the pendulum tube, and the water is sprayed to the sample. The tested sample is placed in the center of the pendulum tube semicircle. The pendulum tube swings along the vertical side 180, * * * about 360. Every swing
