Ultraviolet light can sterilize because of the category of ultraviolet light, light wave wavelength from 200 to 300nm of ultraviolet light has a bactericidal effect, that is, UVC radiation has a strong bactericidal force.
The DNA of the illuminated object absorbs UVC, its structure will be destroyed, removing the activity of the cell, microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungi by a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light in a few seconds after irradiation, it will become harmless. UV disinfection is a reliable and environmentally friendly method, as long as you make sure that the radiation intensity is high enough, no chemical additives are required, and microorganisms are unable to produce antibodies to UV light.
Ultraviolet disinfection precautions:
1, to ensure the correct method of disinfection, ultraviolet light is mostly used for air and object surface disinfection. Used for air disinfection, the effective distance of no more than 2m, irradiation time 30 ~ 60min, used for object disinfection, the effective distance of 25 ~ 60cm, irradiation time of 20 a 30min.
2, must ensure that the lamp is intact and the correct use, but also to regularly monitor the lamp, the intensity of the ultraviolet tube is less than 70uwc lining should be replaced in a timely manner. Should keep the lamp clean. The surface of the lamp every 1~2 weeks should be alcohol cotton ball light test to remove dust and grease, in order to reduce the impact of ultraviolet penetration factors.
3. The treatment room should be kept clean and dry at all times, and the treatment room should be wiped daily with a special rag soaked in disinfectant.
4, with ultraviolet disinfection of the surface of the items, the irradiated surface should be subjected to direct irradiation of ultraviolet light, and should reach a sufficient dose of irradiation, disinfection of the air, open all the cabinet doors drawers, etc., in order to ensure that all the space of the treatment room is fully exposed to all the ultraviolet irradiation, disinfection as far as possible without a dead end.
5, in the disinfection process, shall not make the ultraviolet light source irradiation to people, especially on the eyes, so as not to cause damage.
