How to treat lumbar spinal stenosis?
It is recommended to treat lumbar spinal stenosis with German Schlafly laminectomy. Schlafly laminectomy technology removes herniated disc tissues under endoscopic surveillance through a special lateral foraminal approach route, which is less traumatic than the usual posterior approach surgery. Typical laminectomies inevitably cause extensive damage to structures that play an important role in spinal stabilization in order to approach the target point, which usually requires immediate spinal fusion. In contrast, the laminectomy technique progressively enlarges the intervertebral foramina through a reamer and appropriate medical instrumentation, completely removing any protruding or detached fragments as well as the degenerated, inflamed nucleus pulposus. It also allows for continuous irrigation and anti-inflammation of the lesion, the use of radiofrequency electrodes to repair the annulus fibrosus, ablation of nerve sensitizing tissue, and blocking of the circumferential nerve branches to relieve the patient's soft tissue pain.
