Industrial design
Industrial design is a combination of science and technology, culture and communication, a user-centered approach to product design. In response to market demand, it redesigns and develops products by utilizing knowledge and technology from a variety of sources, including aesthetics, functional engineering, and social culture. The goal is to create products that are of excellent quality, aesthetically pleasing, practical and user-friendly.
The Industrial Design program is divided into Industrial Product Design, Interactive Product Design, and Commercial Display Design. Students will develop cultural, organizational, managerial, strategic and interaction design skills through hands-on practice, creativity and user experience, laying a solid foundation for their future careers.
Graphic Design
Graphic design is a field of design that combines art, media, and technology to convey information, express ideas, and stimulate emotions through design elements such as text, images, typography, and color. Graphic design is primarily used in advertising, creative design, digital art, packaging and publications.
In their studies, students master a wide range of design software and tools, and learn the fundamentals of digital design, such as color theory, image processing, and typography techniques. In addition to this, students are required to be intellectually and aesthetically competent in all aspects of the program, and are able to develop appropriate design solutions based on client needs and brand image.
Mechanical Design
Mechanical design is the field of designing mechanical equipment by applying manufacturing and mechanical principles. In their studies, students are required to master a variety of design and manufacturing tools such as CAD software, mechanics of materials, mechanical principles, manufacturing processes and quality control.
The field of mechanical design is widely used in manufacturing, aerospace, military, medical, automotive, and other industry sectors where it plays an important role. The mechanical design program can also be divided into mechanical manufacturing and precision machinery programs, which students need to choose according to their interests and abilities.
Industrial design, graphic design and mechanical design are important directions in the design studies program, and different fields of design have their own goals and characteristics. Studying these majors requires students to acquire a wealth of specialized knowledge and highly creative and comprehensive thinking skills. After graduation, students can become professionals in the fields of design, research and development, and planning, and play an important role in their future careers.
