In order to better understand the working condition of enterprises under the epidemic, especially in the automobile industry that I am in, I specially interviewed the staffs of different positions, so as to make a judgment on the overall status of the current automobile industry chain.
Interviewer: Beijing Mercedes-Benz workshop technician, keywords: stop working at night, relatively reduced production capacity, overall normal operation
On February 6 this year, Beijing Mercedes-Benz had submitted an application for resumption of work to the Wuqing District Government of Tianjin, saying that if Beijing Mercedes-Benz could not return to work on February 10, the daily economic loss would be more than 400 million yuan.
The statement, which was controversial some time ago, said that the delay in the start of work would indeed result in greater economic losses, and that the upstream and downstream industries of the plant would be implicated, but that the early February period coincided with the fast-growing outbreak of the epidemic, and that the safety of workers required a great deal of attention.
It is understood that, in the end, Beijing Benz still chose to officially resume work on February 10, most of the employees working in the factory for the city's household registration, the daily commute to and from work required to measure and record the body temperature, all the personnel all wear masks, and the workshop disinfected on a daily basis.
Today, the overall operation status of Beijing Benz has been normalized, but unlike the past days, Beijing Benz now stops the night work in the plant, and the overall production capacity of Beijing Benz has been relatively reduced a bit.

In an interview with the sales of an Audi 4S store in Beijing, it was learned that the Audi 4S store in Beijing has basically resumed work.
Currently, most of the employees in the store are local citizens, and those who return to Beijing from abroad are required to return to Beijing and isolate themselves for 14 days before they are allowed to work. Purchasing a car during the epidemic, dealers will also provide full disinfection of the new car, transported by crate, delivered to the home, reducing the consumer's contact with other people.
Interviewer: Lexus sales, keywords: ban on online broadcasting, give some preferential efforts
Lexus in recent years, the performance of Lexus in China for all to **** witness, the popular models have also been appearing to increase the price of the purchase of the car, and Lexus under the epidemic, and what are the initiatives?
In the sales communication with a Lexus state-owned dealership in Beijing, it was learned that its 4S store has officially resumed work, and the preventive and control measures for the epidemic are more or less the same as those of the Audi 4S store mentioned above, which conducts temperature measurement and registration of incoming personnel, and wears masks and gloves.
But unlike the Audi dealership, the Lexus brand and dealerships do not support live broadcasts to publicize information, and their policies for the epidemic are based on official releases. When I asked if owners' maintenance intervals would be extended due to the epidemic, sales said they hadn't received any such notification yet.
On the other hand, during the epidemic, in order to promote consumers' desire to buy cars, dealers implemented certain cash discounts, such as Lexus's hot-selling model ES?200, which normally has no discounts, but currently has a discount of several thousand dollars.
In the process of communicating with sales, it was also learned that in order to reduce the direct and indirect contact of store personnel, its store eliminated drinking cups and began to provide bottled beverages. Unlike 4S store sales, after-sales maintenance technicians do not often come into direct contact with outsiders, but in the communication with the maintenance technician of a Buick 4S store in Beijing, it was said, "At present, we can not be regarded as an official resumption of work, the masters of the field are not let go to work. So I asked him, "Can this state cope with the after-sales maintenance of the vehicle", the maintenance technician said, "Enough, the main thing is that there are very few cars coming to the store for maintenance, just three or four a day, and my friends in other brands of 4S stores are basically in the same situation. "
This is the first time I've ever seen a car in the market.
And in the epidemic prevention and control, after-sales workshop is also very concerned about the protection, in addition to maintenance technicians also like others to measure the temperature twice a day, must wear a mask, the technician's lounge morning, noon and night will be disinfected three times, and the work of the handover to ensure that the contact between people, the business process from the simple.

Beijing Mercedes-Benz factory mechanic:
"I actually feel Luckily, the epidemic in Beijing is not too serious, and my colleagues around me are more familiar with it, and the protection measures are more strict now, plus I drive myself to and from work every day, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, and at the very least, I haven't heard of any confirmed diagnoses among the 10,000-odd people in our factory here."
Audi 4S store sales:
"Although our measures are quite comprehensive and we provide masks to our customers, sometimes they still feel stuffy and take the masks off themselves in the store. Seeing customers without masks, honestly really worried for themselves, can only explain to the customer, I hope that he took on the mask removed".
Lexus 4S store sales:
"I don't think it's too safe, although there aren't many customers coming into the store right now, but who can say about this kind of thing. What I can do now is to try to safeguard my own safety, and also give peace of mind to the customers who come into the store and the colleagues around me."
Buick 4S store maintenance technician:
"It's pretty safe, our store is not in the city, the population density is low, and there are very few confirmed cases in the district and county where we are located. Just occasionally when you receive a car with foreign license plates, your heart is more or less against it, but as of now it's not too worrying, and you won't run around on your own".
