Maowei District is a county-level district under the jurisdiction of Shiyan City, Hubei Province, located in the central part of the Shiyan area. East from the Shiyan Economic Development Zone, and Danjiangkou City, adjacent to the town of Liuliping; West roughly along the city center of Sifangshan - Penjieshan - Niutoushan Northeast Southwest line, connected to Zhangwan District; South up to the town of Dachuan and Fangxian adjacent to the town of; North to the five weir street, and Zhangwan District, adjacent to the street of Hanjiang Road.
