Yuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located at No. 69, Junguanyao Road, Yuzhou City, Henan Province, was founded on December 21, 1979, and after more than 20 years, it has become a municipal modernized and comprehensive Grade 2A Chinese medicine hospital, which focuses on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and combines TCM and Western medicine. In 1994, it became a teaching hospital of Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; in 1997, it was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collective for Traditional Chinese Medicine Work in Henan Province" by Henan Provincial Department of Personnel and Department of Health; in 2002, it was approved as a Red Cross Hospital of Yuzhou City by the Provincial Red Cross Society; and it was successively designated as a designated hospital of Yuzhou City for medical insurance, and a designated hospital of Yuzhou Branch of the People's Insurance Company of China. In 1965, the Chuhe Health Center tapped into the folk method of psychiatric excision therapy, which was so effective that it became famous in Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Xinyang, Xuchang, and Nanyang in this province, as well as in Xinjiang, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Anhui, and Hubei provinces. In order to meet the needs, approved by the Yu County Revolutionary Committee, on June 10, 1976, the establishment of Yu County Psychiatric Hospital, the hospital site is still located in Chuhe. 1978 March and Yu County Dongguan brigade reached an agreement, in the Dongguan outside the requisition of 30 acres of land to raise 200,000 yuan, in December 1979 completed outpatient clinics and wards of 2,320 square meters, the same year, moved to a new site. 1979 December 21, by the county revolutionary committee decided to change the name to Henan Province. On December 21, 1979, after the decision of the county revolutionary committee, it was renamed as Henan Yu County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1988, when Yu County was abolished and established as a city, Yu County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was renamed as Yuzhou City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
