Free-type gas springs
Free-type gas springs (support rods) (Liftgasspring) are widely used gas springs. It mainly plays a supporting role, only short, long two positions, in the stroke can not stop by itself. It is widely used in automobile, textile machinery, printing equipment, office equipment, engineering machinery and other industries. Free-type gas spring with its lightweight, smooth operation, easy to operate, price concessions, etc., in the automotive, engineering machinery, printing machinery, textile equipment and other industries such as the application of a wide range. The free-type gas spring can be used in a wide range of industries, such as automobile, engineering machinery, printing machinery, textile equipment, etc. It can also be used in high-cold environment, acidic or alkaline environment.
Self-locking gas spring
Self-locking gas spring (angle adjuster, controllable gas spring) (Lockablegasspring) in the medical equipment applications. This type of gas spring can be stopped at any position in the stroke with the help of some release mechanism, and has a large locking force after stopping (can reach more than 10000N).
Stop at will gas springs
Stop at will gas springs (friction gas springs, balanced gas springs) are mainly used in kitchen furniture, medical equipment and other fields. Its characteristics lie between free-type gas springs and self-locking gas springs: they can be stopped at any position in the stroke without any external structure, but without additional locking force. The effect is mainly achieved by means of a controller (handle or pull wire). It can also be achieved by telescoping the piston rod. When stopped when adjusted in the desired position with a controller, the valve closes independently and the piston rod locks in the required position. When locking occurs, locking can be realized. However, if the locking force is exceeded, the locking function will no longer be effective.
Traction gas springs
Traction gas springs (tension gas springs) (Gastractionsprings) are a special kind of gas springs: other gas springs are in the long position in the free state, i.e., they move from the long to the short position after being subjected to an external force, whereas the free state of traction gas springs is in the short position, and they run from the short to the long position when they are subjected to traction. The free state of a traction gas spring is in the short position and runs from the short to the long position when it is pulled. There are also free and self-locking types of traction gas springs.
Dampers
Dampers are used in automobiles and medical equipment and are characterized by a change in resistance with running speed. It can significantly cushion the speed of the connected mechanism. Damper is mainly used to act as a cushion, and is characterized by the force of the gas spring varying with the speed of movement. When the point of action that directs the force of the gas spring is moving relatively fast the resistance of the spring increases significantly, while when the point of action is moving very slowly the resistance is almost non-existent. Dampers are mainly used in washing machines, refrigerators and other industries.
