Ceramic materials are lightweight, oxidation-resistant, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant and have good biocompatibility, and have been widely used in the manufacture of dental, orthopedic and other medical devices. However, ceramic materials due to its hard and brittle properties caused by the processing of molding difficulties, and 3D printing, a new ceramic processing technology can be to a certain extent to solve this problem.
Currently, compared to metal and polymer materials in the application of ceramic materials in 3D printing is slightly immature, ceramic slurry particle size, pH, particle distribution, viscosity and additives have a direct impact on the printing effect, increasing the difficulty of ceramic slurry preparation, the development of ceramic 3D printing technology is closely related to the development of material preparation technology. But because ceramic 3D printing technology can directly print ceramic parts with complex structure, so ceramic 3D printing technology still has irreplaceable advantages and application value.
