The main differences between LCD and LCM1 are:
1. LCM has a font; LCD basically does not have a font.
2. LCD is a liquid crystal display, generally referring to a separate screen; LCM is a liquid crystal display module, which includes corresponding drive circuits and control circuits and can be directly connected to a microcontroller.
To put it simply, a liquid crystal module is an LCD screen + LED backlight board + PCB board + iron frame. The module is mainly divided into screen and backlight components. The two parts are assembled together, but work independently of each other (i.e. the circuits are not related). The principle of LCD display is that the backlight assembly emits uniform surface light, and the light is transmitted to our eyes through the LCD screen. The function of the screen is to process this light on a pixel-by-pixel basis to display an image.
