The management of medical institutions, including the recruitment and training of personnel, and the purchase and maintenance of medical equipment, is the responsibility of the medical institutions themselves and is subject to the supervision of the relevant authorities.
3. Drug production and quality management:
The functions of the National Working Committee on Essential Drugs do not include the specific management of drug manufacturers and supervision of drug quality. The production and quality management of medicines are strictly regulated by the State Food and Drug Administration, including the production license, quality inspection and market monitoring of medicines.
4. Drug price management:
The National Working Committee on Essential Drugs is not responsible for pricing and price management of drugs. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and related departments are responsible for the price management of medicines, including the regulation and supervision of drug prices.
5. Formulation of health insurance policy:
The National Working Committee on Essential Drugs does not formulate health insurance policy. The formulation of health insurance policy is the responsibility of the National Health Commission and the National Health Insurance Bureau and other departments, including health insurance coverage, reimbursement rates and policy implementation.
