Ethnology and Sociology The School is a teaching and research institution of the University, with the Institute of Ethnic Studies, the Southern Minority Research Center, and the Institute of Higher Education attached to it. It has strong faculty members, complete levels of discipline construction, and strong scientific research, and has the qualification of cultivating master's degree students. The institute has 27 teaching staff, including 23 full-time teachers and 4 teaching assistants. Among the full-time teachers, there are 7 professors, 6 associate professors, 6 lecturers, 4 teaching assistants and 1 "Chutian Scholars" professor. 75% of the teachers have master's degree, including 7 teachers with doctoral degree and 7 master's degree supervisors.
