Bi Xuejun, born in March 1969, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, director of Qingdao Key Laboratory of New Environmental Protection, and dean of the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering of Qingdao University of Technology. He is mainly engaged in teaching, research and development of water pollution control engineering technology. In recent years, the main scientific research achievements include: co-developed with others with simple and efficient characteristics of municipal wastewater biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal inverted A2/O process and its related technology, which is regarded as "an important innovation in the field of wastewater biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal technology" by domestic and foreign peer experts, and the results of this technology are compiled into the general higher education "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" national planning textbooks and the national engineering related engineering. The results of this technology have been compiled into the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" national planning textbooks for general higher education and national engineering design specifications, and have been successfully applied in the construction and renovation of more than 150 large-scale municipal sewage treatment plants at home and abroad; independently researched and developed composite iron enzyme-enriched activated sludge enhanced biological denitrification and phosphorus removal technology, which solves the limiting bottleneck of low-temperature nitrification and the technical difficulties of the operational stability and economy of sewage nitrogen and phosphorus removal. He has presided over and completed 2 national projects, 4 international scientific and technological cooperation projects, 9 provincial and ministerial projects, 3 invention patents and 5 utility model patents. He has published more than 80 academic papers in core journals and conferences at home and abroad.
