If the original packing list is to be in triplicate, how many copies should be stamped? Are all three copies stamped, or one is stamped and the other two can be photocopied?

The following are the requirements of UCP600 on documents:

Article XVII Original Documents and Copies

a. At least one original of each type of document specified in the letter of credit shall be submitted.

b.The Bank shall treat any document bearing what appears to be the original signature, mark, stamp or label of the drawer as an original document unless the document itself indicates that it is not an original.

c.Unless the document itself indicates otherwise, the Bank shall also treat it as an original document if:

i. it appears to have been handwritten, typed, perforated, or stamped by the drawer: or

ii. it appears to have been issued on the drawer's original letterhead: or

iii. the document states that it is an original document unless it appears that the statement does not apply to the submitted document. to the document being presented.

d. If the letter of credit uses terms such as "in duplicate", "in two fold", "in two copies", "in two sets", etc. to require the submission of a document, the letter of credit must be submitted on the original letterhead: or

iii. "and other terms require the submission of multiple copies of the document, then submit at least one original, the rest of the use of copies to meet the requirements, unless otherwise specified in the document itself.

According to the instructions in d, it is possible to have one original and two copies.
