Gradually carry out the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases such as eye trauma, cataract, glaucoma, strabismus, lacrimal sac, enucleation of eyeball, radical maxillary sinus surgery, tonsillectomy and turbinectomy. According to the central health policy, relying on technological progress, the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine is the way to develop clinical medicine in China and broaden the means and methods of treating diseases. Since 1980s, the clinical application of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in ophthalmology has been mainly discussed. Traumatic intraocular hemorrhage, hyphema, vitreous opacity and central retinal inflammation all have different degrees of tissue edema, regardless of trauma, inflammation or non-inflammation. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, dampness benefits it, blood stasis removes it, and deficiency supplements it. Clinically, western medicine is used to treat according to syndrome differentiation, such as drugs for eliminating edema and bleeding, drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis for those with old blood clots or pigments of different sizes, and drugs for nourishing liver and kidney for those without dampness and blood stasis. Ophthalmopathy is closely related to liver and kidney. Through clinical practice, more than 80% cases have been cured or improved.
