Purpose of the Company
The purpose of the Company's business is to adopt the advanced technology and management experience of Seiko Epson as a wholly-owned company of Seiko Epson China, to establish wholly-owned or foreign-invested joint ventures with the Chinese side in China, or to acquire existing companies, to locally manufacture and sell advanced products in China, and to strengthen and coordinate the investment of Seiko Epson in China to satisfy the requirements of our customers and to expand the business of Seiko Epson. To expand Seiko Epson's current business in China. It is our long-cherished wish to become a reliable and excellent company. Scope of Business of the Division
I. To engage in investments in the fields of electrical appliances, communications, measurement, electronic applications and optical machinery, medical machinery, office automation, machinery and clocks and watches, as well as other fields in which the Chinese government encourages or permits the utilization of foreign capital, and in other related products and industry fields, within the scope of foreign investment encouraged and permitted by the national laws; II. To be entrusted by the enterprises it invests in, in writing (ii) entrusted by its invested enterprise in writing (unanimously approved by the board of directors) to provide the following services to its invested enterprise: assisting or acting on behalf of its invested enterprise in purchasing from domestic and foreign sources machinery and equipment, office equipment, and raw materials, components and spare parts required for the production of the enterprise for its own use; [1] balancing foreign exchange between its invested enterprises with the consent of the foreign exchange administration department and under its supervision; and providing technical support, employee training, and training in the process of production, sale and market development of the products for its invested enterprise. Provide technical support, staff training, internal personnel management and other services for the invested enterprises in the process of product production, sales and market development; assist the invested enterprises to seek loans and provide guarantees; sell the products produced by the invested enterprises in domestic and foreign markets in the form of agency or distribution and provide after-sale services; provide comprehensive services such as transportation and warehousing for the invested enterprises. Setting up scientific research and development centers or departments in China to engage in research and development of new products and high technology, transferring the results of such research and development, and providing corresponding technical services; 4. Providing consulting services to its investors, and providing consulting services to its affiliates in respect of market information and investment policies related to its investment; 5. Exporting domestic commodities in the form of agency, distribution or setting up of export purchasing agencies (including internal agencies) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the State, the export of domestic commodities by way of agency, distribution or the establishment of export procurement agencies (including internal agencies), and can apply for export tax rebates in accordance with the relevant provisions; 6. Purchase of products produced by the invested enterprise for system integration and then sold at home and abroad, such as the products produced by the invested enterprise can not fully meet the needs of the system integration, it is permissible to purchase the supporting products for system integration at home and abroad, but the value of the purchased products for system integration should not be more than fifty percent of the value of the products required for the integration; 7. Provide relevant technical training for the domestic distributors and agents of the products of its invested enterprises, as well as domestic companies and enterprises that have signed technology transfer agreements with the invested company, its parent company or its affiliates; viii. Provide operational leasing services for machinery and office equipment for its invested enterprises, or set up an operational leasing company in accordance with the law; ix. Provide after-sale services for the products produced by its parent company; x. Import and provide after-sale services for the products produced by its parent company; xi. After-sales service for the products produced by its parent company; x. Import and domestic sales of products of multinational corporations; xi. Import of raw and auxiliary materials and parts and components required for the invested enterprises and multinational corporations to provide maintenance services for their products; xii. Undertake the outsourcing of services to domestic and foreign enterprises; xiii. Engage in logistics distribution services in accordance with the relevant provisions; xiv. With the approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, set up finance companies to provide relevant financial services to investment companies and their invested enterprises; xv. With the approval of the Ministry of Commerce, engage in offshore engineering contracting business and offshore investment, and set up financial leasing companies and provide relevant services.

Origin of Epson:
