Henan Cancer Hospital (Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Zhengzhou University) is the only Grade 3A specialized tumor hospital in Henan that integrates medical treatment, prevention, scientific research, teaching, and rehabilitation, and was founded in 1977, officially opened in 1984, and was listed as Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Zhengzhou University in 2010. After 44 years of construction, the hospital has developed into a large-scale modern hospital with domestic well-known capability of tumor prevention and treatment and the leading capability in the province.
Over the past 44 years, we have built three key clinical specialties of the National Health Commission in thoracic surgery, oncology and nursing, and the Department of Integrative Medicine has been recognized as a key specialty by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan"; we have also been granted a total of 21 provincial key disciplines, including 11 provincial key disciplines in medicine, such as General Surgery, and 9 provincial key disciplines in medicine (cultivation disciplines), such as Pathology.
