5G indoor small base stations are rich in application scenarios, which are mainly divided into two categories: ToB and ToC. Among them, the ToB scenario focuses on industrial internet, telemedicine and other fields, and needs to meet its different network index requirements according to specific applications; In the early stage of ToC scene, high-traffic service is the main service, with strong public perception and close to personal life. At present, high-definition video and AR/VR are highly concerned applications.
ToB and ToC have different demand types for small base stations. For example, for high, medium and low capacity coverage areas in ToB and ToC scenarios, the required small base station architecture is a three-level architecture networking form, including BBU, switching equipment and RRU. It is mainly used for scenes covering buildings and indoor surfaces. For home and blind coverage scenarios, we can consider integrating small base station equipment.
