Hainan adds two new duty-free stores Haikou Duty Free Shop and Boao Duty Free Shop

Hainan is the second largest island in China, located at the northern end of the South China Sea. It has a subtropical natural climate. Numerous high-quality beaches and seawater quality make it a famous vacation destination, attracting a large number of tourists every year. This is the latest introduction about duty-free stores.

Two duty-free stores in Haikou and Boao officially opened on January 19th. With this, the number of duty-free shopping stores on Hainan Island has increased to four.

Introduction of Haikou Duty Free Shop

Operating area is 22,000 square meters, and the first phase of the opening area is 13,000 square meters.

Boao Duty Free Shop Address

Boao Forum for Asia Permanent Conference Site in Qionghai City, with a business area of 4,200 square meters.

Fonts of these two stores deal with 38 categories of duty-free commodities such as perfume, cosmetics and food, introducing nearly 200 internationally recognized brands.

It is understood that Haikou and Boao duty-free stores are operated by Hainan Duty-Free Products Co Ltd, a subsidiary of China National Tourism Group Ltd, and all commodities are directly purchased from the place of origin by China Duty-Free (Group) Co Ltd, with the whole process supervised by customs.
