Brief introduction of PLA Institute of Functional Neurosurgery

The Department of Neurosurgery of Tang Dou Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University was established in 1962 and1973+February. At present, there are 2 wards with 80 beds, with an average of 1 1,000 patients and 900 operations. The treatment of neurosurgical patients from all over the world is characterized by interventional and surgical treatment of patients with cerebrovascular diseases, microsurgical resection of skull base tumors and microelectrode-guided directional treatment of Parkinson's disease. The department has imported surgical microscope, mobile digital subtraction, large CT stereotactic instrument, ultrasonic suction, navigation and other medical equipment worth more than 20 million yuan. We have established the Neuroscience Brain Trauma Laboratory, the Neurosurgery Interventional Therapy Research Center and the International Parkinson's Disease Treatment Research Center.
