Intestinal adhesions are very common after surgery, most of them can be dissipated and absorbed, but some of them last for a long time and are difficult to predict. Pneumoperitoneography has little diagnostic significance for intestinal adhesions, and I don't know where you learned that there is such a diagnostic method. I would not advocate that you go for immediate laparoscopic adhesiolysis, except when there is complete intestinal obstruction and recurrent episodes of unrelieved obstruction. Both our hospital and Changde City Hospital can do this procedure.
