What is peek plastic used for

PEEK plastic is a semi-crystalline high-performance engineering thermoplastics. It has unique mechanical properties, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, fatigue resistance, and ultra-high heat resistance of up to 260°C. It is also a high performance engineering thermoplastic.

PEEK can be processed into semi-finished products in the form of sheets, rods and tubes, as well as machined parts by conventional methods such as injection molding, extrusion, and molding.

Because of these properties, PEEK and its composites are used in a wide range of applications such as aerospace parts, automobiles, semiconductors, medical devices and food utensils.

PEEK Plastics

Despite the high price of PEEK, the added value that PEEK materials bring by offering the possibility of manufacturing parts includes light weight, strength or toughness, and the ability to survive longer in harsh environments.
