E-commerce platforms that have third-party merchants stationed on them or are involved in online transactions need to apply for an edi license, and self-operated platforms need to apply for an ICP license. edi licenses are handled by the provincial communications authority, and the general processing time is 30-40 working days.

Enterprises applying for an edi license need to meet the following conditions;

1. Company registered capital of more than 100w

2. 3 personnel under the name of the company in the recent month social security certificates

3. Feasibility study report and related technical solutions

4. website domain name filing must be in the name of the company

5. Server hosting requirements in the province

6. Website construction must comply with the EDI license

Enterprises applying for edi licenses need to prepare the following materials:

1, a copy of the business license

2, legal person and shareholders ID card

3, Articles of Association (need to be up to date, the Trade and Industry Bureau stamped with the archives query chapter)

4, 3 people recently 1 month of social security certificate

5, the company personnel ID card, and personnel's cell phone, e-mail
