The retired cadres' medical fee is composed of two parts: the individual account and the integrated fund. Retired cadres in the outpatient or hospitalization of medical expenses incurred in line with the scope of payment, first from the individual account, the individual account is not enough to pay, by the integrated fund.
The amount to be paid into the individual account of retired cadres is one-third of the annual published standard of contribution to the fund to be paid into the individual account and two-thirds to be used for the establishment of the integrated fund.
At the end of the year, if there is a balance in the individual account, 60% of the balance is awarded in cash to the retired cadres themselves, and the other 40% is credited to their individual accounts for the following year; if the retired cadres pass away, their surviving family members can receive the final balance of their individual accounts.
The retired cadres who participate in the coordinated outpatient treatment in the designated hospitals must bring their medical cards to register at the special window of the designated hospitals and receive duplicate prescriptions; after the consultation and treatment, they will go to the special window with the special prescription issued by the receiving physician and their own certificates to calculate the price, settle the payment and get the medicines. The cost of medication is paid from the individual account, and if the individual account is insufficient, it will be paid by the integrated system.
