Raz Yuwen (? -524), Wuchuan, Dai County (present-day Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia). He was a minister of the royal family of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the eldest brother of the Great Ancestor Yu Wentai, and the father of the powerful minister Yu Wengu. He was a man of filial piety and valor. In the second year of Xiaochang (526), his father Yuwen Hazhao fought with Wei Keguo in the South River of Wuchuan and fell off his horse in the battlefield, and Hazhao died trying to save his father. In the first year of Baoding, he was awarded the posthumous title of Tai Shi, Great General of Chu Guo, Great Mound Zai, Assassin of Hengzhou, and the title of Duke of Shao Guo, with the posthumous title of Hui.
