2. The difference between medical monitors and ordinary computer monitors.

Due to the different application fields of medical monitors and ordinary monitors, the technical requirements for parameters are also different. The following is a comparison based on the main parameters:

1, supporting DICOM PART# 14 standard: A professional medical display must support DICOM PART# 14 standard, that is, it must have the ability to adjust the DICOM standard curve to make it consistent with DICOM standard, so as to ensure the display quality of images.

2. Support gray scale display: gray scale is a very important feature of black-and-white medical images, which reflects the hierarchical relationship between black-and-white images.

Gray display needs graphics card support, and medical special display needs special graphics card;

Ordinary displays include: 8bit- 256 gray scale, used to display color images, no gray scale requirements, using ordinary graphics cards;

The medical display includes: 10 bit- 1024 gray scale for displaying X-ray gray scale images. For diagnosis, the requirements are: 10 bit ~10 bit (1024 ~ 2048 gray scale).

3. Support SBC function (stable brightness control): the brightness of the display will decay with time, which is normal display.

Because there is no stable brightness control and calibration, it not only decays quickly, but also is affected by the environment, so its brightness cannot be kept at a level suitable for human eyes for a long time. In view of this problem, professional medical gray-scale display adopts stable brightness control technology to calibrate the brightness feedback information of the display at any time, so as to keep it above the standard brightness all the time, which meets the clinical film reading standard, and it needs 30,000 or even 65,438+10,000.

2048x2560 (vertical screen) /2560x2048 (horizontal screen);

Commonly known as 5 million pixels (5MP), referred to as 2 K, it is often used for vertical screen display, and is mostly suitable for flat-panel DR, breast machine and PACS diagnostic workstation;

The resolution of medical display is directly proportional to the price and the resolution of radiation equipment, and the corresponding equipment should be equipped with a display with corresponding resolution.

5. Certification:

Ordinary monitors include: environmental protection and electromagnetic certification.

6. Security:

3. How to choose and buy medical monitors:

(1) Select from the functions:

① Select a medical monitor capable of DICOM calibration and equip it with special calibration software;

② There is an optical sensor interface on the back of the monitor, which can be connected with an optical sensor for correction, otherwise it cannot be corrected.

② The medical display with constant brightness device is selected to ensure that the brightness of the display does not change with time, which can ensure the consistency and integrity of the system display.

(3) Due to the requirements of teaching and the habits of doctors, doctors at home and abroad are used to pointing at the film or display screen with pens to express their views on the specific details of the image. Liquid crystal materials are easily damaged. In order to adapt to the medical environment, display manufacturers will responsibly install LCD protection plates in the production process. Therefore, the optional medical display should have the protective plate of LCD screen.

(2) Select from the parameters:

① It is suggested that the diagnostic workstation should be equipped with 3MP and 5MP monitors, and there is no option of 3MP for breast machine and flat-panel DR. ..

② It is recommended to configure 2MP and 1MP monitors for observation and teaching workstations.
